 Gentle Dentistry and painless dentistry are two terms that are often advertised by dental offices.  Sometimes dental practices will say things like “We cater to cowards”.  But what does that really mean? Is it just an advertising ploy?   Is all dentistry the same?  These are questions that many fearful patients, those who have serious dental anxieties or dental phobias, want to know.  Dentists and dental practices, just like other businesses, have varying levels of quality, service and compassion.  Gentle dentists should exercise patience and compassion.
